The Living Center at Sunny Vista is a 116-private-room community providing state-of-the-art long-term care services to Colorado Springs. Services are tailored to people who are unable to manage independently in the community. Care is customized and coordinated to support each individual’s needs while promoting independence and quality of life.
The Living Center’s long-term care services range from assisting with a person’s daily tasks to providing the expertise of skilled practitioners to address conditions generally associated with older adults.
Care Team
Rehabilitation professionals at The Living Center will care for you or your family member as they would their own. Working with outside healthcare partners, they will ensure you or your loved one gets the treatment you need to recover quickly.
Not only is Sunny Vista a beautiful home for Mom, but the staff members are truly exceptional in their dedicated care from the nurses to CNAs, housekeeping and reception. Steve Downs the director is attentive and welcoming. Mom’s meals are tasty and nutritious with lots of variety. We have been very happy with her new home and are grateful for the outstanding services.

Dining
The Living Center residents can order from the Open Dining menu, which includes made-to-order burgers, fried fish, omelets, salads and sandwiches. Outside of open dining hours, residents would like to enjoy a snack, they can request any of the following by putting on their call light and requesting a snack from their nurse aide that could include cottage cheese, Jell-O, fruit or cookies, depending on dietary restrictions.

There is also a van dedicated for field trips and concerts that is used on a weekly basis.
